im trying to help someone setup there carb on his nrg. the engine is standard deristricted with a polini variator, doppler sr3, 12mm dell carb and is air cooled if that changes owt. hes got a 75 main jet in at minute, top end is good but theres a dead spot he says. was looking for a guide for standard jet sizes but cant seem to find one anyware. am i right in thinking with this setup the main jet needs to be around the 68 mark? thanks steve
Lmao thats near enough the same setup as mine, i've been through jets im on a 75 at the minute and its still rich so 68 sounds about right
clutch springs and rollers... if the dead spot is first pull away its rolers.. if it go's then drops off then go's again its rollers.., jets arnt magic.. they dont COMPLETLY set your bike up, there merly one aspect
