ok. i got a 19mm phgb carb got it all runing on there but i just cant get it setup. it sarts and ticks over fine but as soon as you throtle it it bogs. ive tried changing jest, moved the needle. and tried the mix screw aswel a bit.what you recon? thanks
idle mix isnt right.. wind it all the way in then out half a turn at a time till it doesent bog at FIRST THROTTLE movement.. clip on the top of the needle. and there is a carb guide on the main site.. will halp
tried that still didnt change wondering what it could be any ideas? it ticks over fine just as you rev it it bogs.
sorry i cant i dont have a link for my cam to this pc. erm i wish you lived closer, when its started it seems to let you rev it more on choke for some reson. but it still bogs when you rev it.
"bogs when you rev it" can mean a million things bruv.. explain exactly what it does.. what revs does it hit.. does it run but sound bubbley or just dye when you throttle... on or off stand, will it drive at half throttle and so on
you can ride it slowly at low revs it bogs as soon as you giv it over quater throtle. you canrev it more on the spot neerly full. it sounds ok.
the rollers i have in ther are 5.0 g they where fine before i put the carb on. ill change them and see.
i ovten need to lighten rollers for diff carbs/filters as it does change alot of the engines charecteristic's when you touch carburation so compensation in the transmission is in order. start out with the needle on the top notch the idle mix at 2 full turns out and a pritty big jet. then check the guide on the main site for info on what does what on the carb. if you understand the carb rather than just guessing it makes things alot easier.
