Thinking about selling my ped
Speedfight 2
Mot and tax runs out this month but it'll be renewed

Basically just wanna know (if you had the money and would buy it) how much you'd pay

Bearing in mind everything I've done to it

-evo panels
-Jack up kit
-Halogen headlights
-new rear light unit
-70s kit
- new shockers
-stage 6 pro rep exhaust
-high performance coil
- new disk and calliper
- side stand
- new crank case seals

And a few others I can't remember

It's a tidy bike, goes real quick,
Honest opinions only please, just want a rough guide how much to sell it it for if I do

 

i'd give you around 400-450 for it

 

I'd offer £600

 

prob is many of the bits you list are either a matter of taste (evo panels, rear light, jack up kit), a performance enhancement(exhaust, 70 kit) that a buyer is looking for or simply something that has to be there and renewed as a routine service item (crank seals, shocks, disc n pads, coil)

Its almost irrelevant how much money its had thrown at it as its gotta be what the buyers looking for....a bit like a personalized number plate with Dave wrote on it and cost 3K....its no good if your names Maude

All you can do is look at what others go for in a similar state of customization and base a price around that...and then hope theres someone looking for something along those lines. Added popular parts wont necessarily make it worth more but they might broarded the appeal or make it sell sooner than the next bike

 

Slightly going off the question here... Let me rephrase it... If it was your 'sort of ped' and you had the money, how much would you pay for it?
I know all of the above is true... But since I've done it up, it's had a lot of interest, people always telling me it's a nice bike, they love the way it looks etc....

 

id give £700 cause i sold my shagged speedfight for £500 and envery panle had damage/flat back tyre/broken headligtn and completely standard i would defo pay £700 for yours though

I'd offer bout £800 since i actually know how much speedfight parts cost compared to other peds Speedfight owners banks get raped so much more ! But u need to think more about your star player parts if your going to sell. Evo panels, 70 kit, exhaust, the fact its got new bearings seals and how miles/year you got on it are really the only main selling points. Boost price because of your star parts and use the other stuff to gain interest and to sell quicker like Stig said. P.s if someone offers you lets say £700 and they dont know you got a 21mm carb onit... SWAP DAT SHIT back to the orginal or something else, and keep some parts if u can without making to much of a impact and sell them on there own to make a lil more £.

 

haha thats what i do when selling a ped, if they dont know its there, ill swap fit for a standard part and sell the other part seperate haha
