drove college when i arrived smoke was bellowing out of the exhaust so i assumed top end gasket, came out of class later and started it and water/antifreeze pissed out exhaust, so i left it..went to the gym. came back and it turned over twice on the buttin then the kick start was jammed up. :(

    pretty sure its seized.

just thought id tell you :emb:

like i said m8, this happened to me, take the spark plug out and then kick it, if it kicks, its the gasket thats gone so get some new 1's, (have a look at the barrel tho aswell incase theres any scratches on it and if there is use wet and dry to smooth them out) then put it all back together with new gaskets, and u should be away

i gather thats why you tried to ring me earlier

sorry dude was at the nec and left my phone at home

anyway. i did say there was a high risk failure rate

your old piston seized and you didnt know why. so why will a 70 kit fix it.

running in is a little hard on a 70 and you didnt exactly take it steady

dunno what to say theres a big problem somewhere its not it overheating though as i bled your coolant properly etc

my gasket went on mine was well, but only cos it wasn't getting enough oil and melted it when it over heated :p

feel silly about what your sig says yet? LOL... nah im jokin. no oil wont melt a gasget tho. a shit gasget will just melt. piggy/polini gasgets are good..athena aint bad.. malossi aint all that..metal ones should only be used if you know what the hell your doing. but ye. use good gasgets.

to empty your engine get your barrel off.. pull the bike up on the back wheel and have a friend fill the engine with petrol and then drop it back..now lean forward on the front wheel... then bang loads of oil everywhere and rebuild with fresh gasgets and plug and it should work ok after 20 mins of fucking about keeping it running.. DONT rev it tho
just let it idle till it dont smoke..

id still put it down to the owners fitting/running of the kits, rather than the actual kits themselves, if the gaskets were that shocking then surely andys would have gone by now if he's had his longer than both of you. they may not last as long, but jesus they should last longer than a month :w00t:
