secure tax disk holders

jst wondering if you can buy or if some one can recomend a tax disc holder which is hard to open, such as closed by a screw a sumit. cus i just had my tax disc nicked for the second time and it no its only like 7 quid to get a new one bt its fooking annoying

i dunno why people nick em anyway, how can they use it, its got my reg and so on.

any one else had this problems??

 

the ones from halfords is a bollocks to open,

you need a spanner to hold the bolt at the back and an alen key to do the front.

Put it in your seat. If the police pull you show it to them and say it been nicked x amout of times and your sick of having to buy new ones.

I don't have one on my bike never been pulled over for not having a tax disc visible.

Not saying i don't buy road tax because i do, i just don't leave it on my bike as had a few of them stolen. Been pulled over a few times to see if documents are all in order and they have mentioned that i should have a tax disc and when i said i do, but don't carry it on the bike as they constantly get stolen the officers have always agreed with me that it happens alot and just to make sure i have paid for the tax dis

i think it was someone on here who had their whole mudguard and lugs nicked for his tax disk

 

prob a stupid question but moped tax is only 15 quid why do you need to nick one??

and if a put it under my seat doesn't it mean if i park it up the police can take it away or clamp it up if im not their or something like that?

 

people use them on nicked bikes, police see the colour from far away and automatically know its in date(because of the colour)

so its lessens the suspision of the theiving cunts

 

I carry my tax disk around in my pocket
been stopped 3 times and they have asked to see it twice

 

i was pulled a while ago, bike had no tax disc, wasnt taxed since 05' didnt say nought lol

 

Come on, it's £15, no excuse to be riding an illegal bike!

 

i didnt no my tax run out in may and i went for 6 months with out noing got pulled and every think they never new lucky and the day i got it i got puled and they asked to see my taxs as i have it int the boot
