So, I`m thinking of adding a few things over the coming weeks to my speedfight project, I`m good with electronics but am rather unsure with regards to power output on a moped. I.e. if I fit a few gizmo`s that take some juice I don't want to be running the battery in the house every week to charge it.

Theres always the option of a second battery but It would be neat If I could figure a way to charge it from the movement of the bike.

I am going to switch the lighting system to full LED so that should save me some juice.

I was just wondering how some of you power any additional bells whistles and lights on your bike?

perhaps I should turn the spoiler into a solar grid... hmmmm....

Hello, just make sure they are of very good quality, if been doing the same on my old z550, if they are crap, you'll be changing them every other week, they don't like vibration, and it's no joke when your speedo is strobing cos the LEDs are on there way out, indicators need a resister pack, or the relay will burn out, led indicator relays are cheap, about 10 quid, rear light will need to be a stop/tail. Arrow make good led indicators, this is a great online shop for all stuff bike/scooter http://www.theonlinepartsshop.co.uk/universal-motorcycle-black-mini-led-indicators-long-stem/
