secondary gearing for aerox not looking like it will fit!!!!

right my mate gave me this secondary gearing kit a polini one but it doesnt seem to fit it looks like the new gearing is to small for the hole thats in the gearing casing is this becuase its not for an aerox or is that how it should be?. one more thing when i ad a look at it on scooter centre it seemed to be the same it didnt look like my standard.

 

just noticed that its the gearing from pm tuning but i dont seem to have wat looks to be a spacer. but it doesnt seem like it would fit.

 

has to be pressed, got a 30 tonne press??

 

what so the gearing i have is correct for my aerox?

basicly i would like to know the best gearing for my evo set up.
the gearing i have so far is polini secondary gearing 15/42

what primary gearing do i need 14/42 or 13/43

 

depends entirely on what you want to do, i would leave the gearing stock and have a back-wheel animal (like my evo SR)

 

i thought that standard was not strong enough for a evo kit

 

and it keeps the top end slow wat is your like with startard gearing becuase i understand hat you have a evo 70 on the road and also i have been told that startard gearing with such a high end bore will just msh up 9break vasicly)

tops at about 65 ish (never connected the speedo so cant give accurate speed) and pulls like a freight train, personally i dont wanna go any faster on a scooter.

 

what about if i just put secondary gearing in becuase i do want good high end surly an evo bore will make you go more than 65 my dad clocked me on one of my mates mopeds which had a hebo 50cc bore nd gearing etc and it was pushing out bout 70mph

oh no and ppl on here say im a retard. yes a secondary gear up is a gear up kit it says it in the name. standard gearing wont fuck up at all but ull just be topping out at around 65 instead of 75 or plus depending on what geraring u get carb exhaust, bore etc. a secondary gear up will make ur acceleration slower and in some cases (correct me if im wrong) secondary gear ups can have no affect on top end

I don't know anything about gearing at all but I'd rather have bike that pulls really well because 50cc's suck ass up hills in anyways so a gear up kit would probably make it worse up hills right?

Also you'd NEVER be able you get a 50cc to 70mph from what I understand... Unless it you had a boost bottle and hebo stickers because they add about 10bhp :nerd:
