screws

    ive been tryin to take my transition case off but every time i try there is one screw that gets in the way, its the screw that attaches the little air box thing to the case. does anybody have any tips for getting screws out.

    this probibly soundss stupid but i need help! :banghead:

    A couple of months ago i had to rebuild a runner 50 engine for someone,

    and all the bolts that hold the airbox/rear hugger on were rusted solid into the cases :glare:

    the bolts just snapped if you tried to undo them...

    I had to drill them out and fit new bolts and nuts instead, his rear hugger was pretty busted up somehow, but luckily i had a fresh one i fitted in its place ;)

    what type of head is on the screw your trying to get out ?

    have you got enough room to get some mole grips on it....or you could try cutting a slot in it with a hacksaw and using a flat bladed screw driver :)
