Hi to all out there just checking in................ lambretta and vespa has always been my thing although i did buy a brand new gilera 180 which i thoroughly enjoyed for a few years,,,,,,, anyway these are my auto projects i have recently aquired, gilera ice piaggio typhoon 125 gilera skp sym jungle et2 formula twin 125 all the above are new and unregistered............... also working on hexagon 180 lxt honda sfx i will be looking alot of advice and will get some pics up once i get time, right back to the garage.
dont suppose theres another formula 125 twin where you picked yours up? In the same boat myself, bought 2 new unregistered zip sp's. If I had the cash I would have got a typhoon as well.
The new scoots are all late 90s and where never pdi or register due to the fact there was small parts removed for other scoots just things like spark plugs, levers, carbs ,cdi basically they took stuff to fix customers bikes with intentions of ordering in replacement stuff. i,m afraid theres none left
I got some of them there of paddy..........................i take it your the guy they call ZIPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thats the place, and thats me lol. Damn, wish I had spotted the formula125 when I was there............
I bought the formula 125 10 years ago private,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,but you should have spotted the 180 hexagon AWSOME MACHINE!!!!!!!!!!certainly puts a grin on yer chin
I had the 2 stroke 125 hexagon a few years back, handled well in the wet surprisingly but soon turned into a problem bike so had to get rid. Frame was rotton which ment every single fixing and bolt was seized into it. Not fun when the throttle cable snaps and you have to take the panels off to replace it
Dont suppose you have driven the formula 125 to see what it is like? Was always very curious about them and fancied one though parts seem pricey and hard to come by
