Alright lads bike took the knock yesterday and I can't get it started. I've stripped the engine down. Cleaned piston/barrel and that's fine. Done me valves. I've checked me timing and also cleaned the carb twice and put a new plug in it. Anyway it has compression and I'm getting a good spark. Alls I can think of is the petcock isn't letting any juice through. Been at it for about 6 hours and cannot find a fault. I'm just stuck on what to try next

IF youve had the top end off and its a 4 stroke is it possible youve got the timing mucked up?
Check all the obvious stuff first though -
compression (you say you have but what psi is it at? 10psi can blow your finger off the hole the same as 100psi does)
spark - you say you have, what colour is the spark and is it a nice consistent strong spark?
fuel - check theres actually fuel going into the engine - take any of those three away and it wont start/run.

If all of those check out, as youve had the top end off id be looking at the possibility that youve mucked up the timing while cleaning piston etc.

stripped top end to check rings/piston ect, all back together with timing sorted to. (triple checked lol) compression is also fine. the top end is only 7 months old so it shouldnt be that. spark is a strong consistant blue mate. cleaned the carb twice but not sure if the fuel is getting through. might be my petcock! any way i can check it without buying 1 and waiting a week for it to come?

Suck on it gently, if fuel comes through its good, if not its bad.

Replace petcock and see if fuel comes through after that.

Got it going it was the float getting stuck in the bowl. Fixed that put it all back together and it's starts fine now but won't go. Sounds fine until I Rev it then it bogs down and I can't get any power out of it. It also won't idle. This is what it was doing in the first place so I'm back to square 1

IIRC there was a guy on here having the same issue this time last year.

Its a possible air leak? check your airbox, the rubber from airbox to carb, check your manifold, that your carb is fitted and seated to the manifold properly, check the manifold is on properly and the gasket isnt fucked (if it has one at all, if it doesnt fit one asap).

Had a similar problem on a Lexmoto Gladiator last year. Turned out to be the air filter. It looked fine to me, but after I changed it, it was fine again. Just a thought

If you have a compression tester, do a test and post the readings please.
NOTE: just because it starts and idles, doesn't mean the compression is good

sounds too lean to me, i still stand by my guess of split manifold.... or maybe loose manifold clamp....
