Hi Guys,, Im starting to get desperate. I cant get my mickey mouse chinese gy6 scooter to rev. So far its had a new carb, new cylinder head . new piston and rings , new stator. New vario pulley, new clutch. New plug. Other parts ive swaped are the coil and CDI unti nothing is making any differance. The tank fuel filters and tank vacum valve are working fine. It starts fine ticks over fine.. but u reach a fw 1000 revs and it starts how can i put it no longer run clean ? its struggeling... go back to idle and its fine... rev it its not...
I'm guessing it's a 4 stroke? But what cc? 50 or 125? Either way, are you trying to run it with the airbox off? They won't play with the airbox off.
Yes sorry 50cc four stroke... and the air filter was cleaned and replaced and is back on the scooter.
You have seemed to replaced most things. Could possibly be a air leak around the carburettor intake manifold. Spay some carburettor cleaner around the intake when Idle if revs change then u would have a air leak
That was it..... found a split in the gasket plus the O ring was damaged and not seating correctly. Repaired and now its like ive got a brand new scooter.... thanks a million !!!
