The kit is here and were in. Found issue with the wining. Bearing has seized and has stripped teeth on primary shaft






Take a look at were the belt has been on Vario. Not even halfway up as gearbox would be slipping.

Could do with a exploded view of gearbox please. Just to get it right. JOG 04 air-cooled.

Started her up yesterday and she is bogging down on full throttle Have put a 70 jet in. Am leaving it like this for now, as you try getting a 16 year old tearaway to run the engine in

I do not know which to go with this? Will start with a 60 jet in and go from there.

 

With jetting it's always start big and work down

Bogging Top end. I recon its a "lean bog" ? as put hand over carb and she revs out and if on tick-over for a while, fuel build up will let her rev to the top for a short while. Vidio shows it all

Got bottom and mid range sweet. No air leaks that 70cc kit nearly sucking carb in.

Gone through me Jets upto me last size of 96 and sounds best. Will order larger ones and keep going unless I have done wrong

You should do jetting the other way. Start big and work down...
Too lean will cause a seize in the motor....

Yeah ok.... I just hope going that small when it needs bigger has not messed anything up...

 

All good. Did not run her long on testing jets. Will get a 100 and 110 tommorw.

 

Try it with the original airbox and that 96 jet you have in it now

The air in take pipe on top of the air box it’s really restrictive

 

If it’s splutters rather than bogs, which is doing now! come down a couple on the main jet

 

Were good running first out. Yeeeh ha,!!.
