scooter bogs down

I am currently riding a piaggio fly 50 4t and when its cold and twist throttle it bogs down u ave rev it a couple of times to get it going.. any info how to fix would be great thanks

 

Give it about 1 minute for the auto choke to switch off after starting, then pull away.
If that doesn't work then change the auto choke for a new one

 

done that mate and still the same will buy a new 1 and see wot happens cheers mate

 

does it run fine/accelerate ok when its warmed up?

In that case, go for a choke change. That's the cold start.

 

will order 1 I can hear it kick in when I start it up. but I think what is happing is it mite not be going back in causing it to be over fueling ?

 

When it doesn't shut off properly, it causes the engine to run rich even when its warmed up. Could just be sticking on longer than needs be but it will gradually get worse. And they can't be opened and cleaned, just replaced. Not expensive to replace, but it is the first place i'd start with those symptoms.

Fitted part today seems a lot better fingers crossed it woz the choke cheers people for advice
