i looking a max budget of £200 for year on insurance im 24 first time i starting to use a scooter i dont have a full lience just prov i did a quote on bikesure and aa and offered £190-200 fire and theft anyone know any other good insurance providers that could maybe beat that price i was looking at mce and h&r but i never heard of them
If you look through our insurance costs topic it will tell you the sort of prices people are paying and what for. http://www.scootershack.co.uk/general-scooter-discussion/insurance-costs-t668.html MCE are an insurance broker so can quite often get the best deal. £200 for fire a theft for 0 no claims is cheap but it's always worth looking at the excess. If your bike is worth £700 and you are paying £200 a year with £500 excess then it's pointless getting fire and theft. You might as well go third party only as you won't get anything for a pay out.
just found out bike i brought only worth £355 on books i did a insurance quote with comparemarket and on fire and theft excess are about £250-350 which i guess is pointless going on if im correct and i better with just third party
