Right guys, i came to doing my first run on the aerox, ive not had the time to get out on it. Ive only had it ticking over in the garden for a few heat cycles and some revs to remove air from the cooling system and what not.

Now. Im a bit unsure on what the jetting is like, if its correct, but from memory, its got an 87 main jet, something around 63 pilot, and 40 something on the power jet. This is on a standard air box, filter, something like 4 or 4.5 gram rollers and a leo vince TT.

This was the setup it had when it came to me bar the old cylinder. Ive never had anything else to go by as this bike was bought to get me around whilst another was stolen.

Any advice will be appreciated, im going to send it down to a friends garage during the week and see what he can do also, tied up with work atm and havent really had a chance to spend any time with it.

If it helps, i'll gladly whip the float off and take a photo for you guys as ive still got the belly pan off.

Hey there mate what kit are you running as I have a Haynes manual for auto 2t scooter that has all standard settings for them can get all the standard jet sizes that your should run but off the top of my head pretty sure aerox run a 86 or 88 Main

And I found with my aerox as a 50 and as it is now (mhr rep 70 ) 3.5 g rollers work really well

Its just a motoforce standard replacement, ive used one before as they arent too shabby. They do the trick, although the ports arent the best. But hey, its a commuter :)

Just my problem is the initial take off, everything else, up to 30 mph is great, temperature etc is bang on.

Try dropping rollers down just a tad maybe 4 or 3.5 get it revving g up a bit quicker burn the excess fuel what Color is your spark plug as you have mentioned you have done a couple of heat cycles

I never photographed any of this, but it looked a tad on the rich/oily side, possibly due to the oil used during assembly ? But ive a fresh plug to hand, i always keep a few on me.

Oh thanks for that buddy it will help a lot, im going to put a new plug in get it warm and blat her down my road, its long enough to reach 30 mph and knock her off, im suspecting the jetting is off, as ive never messed with any of the screws etc. Time will tell.

Yeah it is heat rating. But im doubting it would affect the air fuel ratio. Im going to get the correct plugs tomorrow, and ive got jets anyway in my friends shop, so going to get them aswell, im guessing it can only be this. Everything else is spot on, my jets ranged from 90-100 odd.

If you only have high jets try running a filter instead of box as u have sports pipe prob get a little bit more out of it aswell

Well typically speaking, its only around a 10% rise on the jet, so its currently 87, so i'd be upping to around a 94-95. And im not a fan of the old filter business. If it works, just from upjetting, jobs a good'n.

Cheers for your responses anyway buddy, been a big help.
