steer clear of none mainstream names I made the mistake of buying NavGear a couple of years back. Read all the blurb on the ebay site year later...there's no updates from ANYWHERE :rtfm: . Last month I used it to pick up the scoot from the coast....sodding thing told me I was crossing a field :w00t:
Buying none mainstream names is fine if you select the right models. A quick google and a check on if it has a SD card slot of some sort could mean you get the latest tomtom software on a device over half the price.
