First off the spec sheet. Dna 50 Doppler s3r exhaust Stage 6 streetrace Alternate rollers (problem happens regardless of which ones i use) Basicaly, I had the ped running, spark plug fine, steady tickover etc etc... Had a flat spot but i was aware that was the because of standard rollers and clutch springs. Also, the exhaust was blowing at the gasket due to not having bought a new set of exhaust studs so it was tightened up with 6mm Bolts. The flat spot was from around 30 up until 35mph. I dont want to treck over this anyway as im stil running it in. So i fitted lighter rollers, bought 5g-5.5g-6g. 5 seemed to work the best. Now, the ped runs fine until it hits 30.... The best way i can describe the issue is its almost like its hitting a rev limiter. It bogged out at 30 before, now it struggles to make it there since tinkering with the rollers and tightening the exhuast =[ Anyone lend some helpfull advice? I can provide any information your after Also had the barel off to check for premature wear and its all fine.
Me thinks maybe contra spring/clutch springs? Although its running different now to what it was before...
Found the problem out for myself The little fuel hose to the carb had a tiny hole in it :yahoo: So all is running beautifully now.
