hi all right ive built my motor but having a bit of a fiddle setting up the carb some of you may know but heres a run down of whats on it

    25mm carb
    pm inlet
    pm reed block
    malossi 172
pm billet head under the original skull cap

    stock airbox with polini element
    standard runner exhaust

am currently running a 95 main with a 45 atomizer

bike didient like idleing and idle screw had little to no effect i put a new plug in and boom perfect the old plug was very black and a little wet with fuel ive now run out of fuel ive turnt the mixture screw out a bit but need a smaller jet

are the dellorto 25mm main jets 6mm or 5mm ?

the plug on the top was used for 9 miles the plug on the right was used for about 1 mile not even that i put it in idled livly went petral station 2 mins from my house come back and dident wanna idle plug was a tad wet too

right little update i read the dellorto ducati carburettor tuning guide online first thing that was wrong

no free play in cable fixed that

then the choke was not off 100% was on about 10% id say so ive sorted that

ive got it to idle a bit but still cuts out at lights doesent idle very fast it would seem even with the idle screw all the way in i also turnt the mixture screw out about 3 turns

now the plug is not as wet but stil a bit black

    ive ordered 4 new plugs and a 93 and a 91 main jet currently has a 95

and the clip on the needle is one down from the top notch am i thinking that the higher the clip = the lower the needle will give me a leaner mix ?

They are 6mm jets your carb.

Higher the clip does mean leaner...
