Got a 2003 Piaggio Skipper 125. Bought it as a job lot few years ago. New battery and fresh fuel and started without much resistance. Unfortunately work and other projects got in the way and the scooter took a back seat. Finally found time to get at it again, starts, ticks over but won't rev. Have put new fuel tap in it thinking diaphram might have perished over time but still the same. Any advise on what might be wrong.
Carb sonic cleaned and fresh petrol in it. It will tick over but as soon as you try to rev it it cuts out.
