Running in 172 KIt

    lol no let it idle for 20mins, then do a mile slowly, and then rag it :cool:

    i run mine in for a while for reassurance to be truthful i felt if i didnt run it in for 400 miles at aroudn 40 or 50 and a lil lbip eveyrnow n then that it wasnt run in ust so i was sure it was run in

    loads of opinions
    my way:

    run it hot then leave for an hour

    run it hot, then ride at about 1/4 throttle for 1/2 hour, allow to cool

    run as normal (just take it easy and kill it at any signs of strange noises or vibrations)

    well ive just only done 50miles at the moment, and have been riding it like a 50cc, only been doing 40 - 50mph.

    looking to do 100miles then i'll give it to 60mph!

    but itz running fine tho!

    revs abit high tho, assuming itz coz of the standard variator!

    rollers may be to light whats your set up and roller size at the min

    the bike was crashed by the previous owner who got hit by a car... so the engine casting that acts like a engine mont broke off....

    so i just put a new engine of a draster and fited the 172 kit.

    so set is:

    172 kit,
    standard var/rollers (from broken engine sp125)
    standard clucth and spring (from broken engine sp125)
