well i had to rebuild my engine after the water pump had gone this was my first engine rebuild but after talkin to the guy in my local scooter shop i was confident enough to do it so got the engine done then it would start and tick over but as soon as you touched the throttle it would die but that was due to the engine earth so fitted that correctly and it ran sweet as a nut all day then the next day got it out and it wont start it starts for about 5-6 seconds then dies any ideas on what this could be ? i will try and get a video up tomorow
im not sure mate,was it cold outside??, my first thing i would look at is fuel and air flow into the engine,air filers, carb,fuel lines , right mixture fuel ect
Mine does it mate, when its cold/damp outside, just turns over and over, and the tacho goes ape shit. If i pump the throttle when i turn it, it will sometimes start, if not, i just stomp the kickstart, give it the scare of its life, and she fires, slag! so try that, may just be cos' of the cold. :hello:
