head gasket? check water pump ect aswell, i know on cars white smoke normaly narrowed down to headgasket and water problems and i know that runners tend to have water pump problems?
thanks wen i got it off the bloke he tld me the petrol in thera was premix so thats probly what it was
Does the smoke have a blue tint to it and does it stink of dirtbikes? And does the smoke thin out at all when the engine is warm? Does sound like its running too rich, check the main jet to see what size it is, may be caused by something else but check jet first. Plug colour should be chocolate brown and it should only smoke a little bit when cold and shouldnt really see any smoke when its warmed up, maybe the odd puff.
the jet size iz 92 and yh there is a lit blue tint 2 the smoke........ but the spark plug comes out blak...... the bikes fully standard as far as i no so wat size jet do u rekomend if i want 2 put a air filter on it (if it starts again) lol
if its running rich with the standard airfilter and stuff and your wanting to upgrade to a sports filter, just try putting the sports filter on and see what it runs like,as when you put a filter on you have to upjet(make it richer) and if its running to rich now, the filter may lean it out and could well sort it running rich. clean your plug, take the bike with the sports air filter on for a good blast and the come back and check colour, if its whiteish its to lean tanned brown its perfect, black or sooty to rich :bike:
