My runner is a bitch to start! It used to start first tap of the button or kick, with a 95 main jet, 70cc kit, 17.5mm carb. It has been upjetted to 115 and have an open air filter, now to start it i have to have full throttle on, pull air filter off, block the air intake till petrol leaks out and then take my hand away slowly. Tried changing down jets but have the same result. Tried 3 different spark plugs aswell. How could i cure this fault? Thanks

got it back how it used to be, 95 main jet. Still hard to start, kills my battery easily aswell. Anyone think this jet is wrong? When i bought the runner it had a 21mm dellorto with an 88 jet and i swapped it with a 17.5mm gurtner carbwith a 95 jet cos the dellorto had no fuel cut off valve. Also when riding it sounds like it cuts out and in very quickly all the time. Will get a video of this tomorrow. Really annoying! Ive got more trust in my Peugeot than i do in this Piaggio motor!

never thought of this before, but is the smaller jet for starting? If i increase the size of this will i have a better chance of it working haha
