Hi everyone iam having a problem with my st125.I was riding it last week and it started leaking oil/water mixed out of the dip stick and air box..I took it to a local garage and the guy said it was the gaskets and the head needed skimming so he done that then rebuilt it.and when he started it the same thing happend but with a more white/oil/water coulor started to come out of the dip stick again .have any of you guys had this problem or know what it could be ? Thanks

its back in there and has been stripped down again but the guy is completely lost over the problem (I live in cyprus and they are deferentially not the best mechanics in the world lol)

possible the cylinder has a micro fracture and is leaking into the cylinder when running and then mixing with the oil , because the oil level then goes it its being overfilled in a sort of way and is being expelled through the dipstick and the carb.

either way i would say the main cylinder is the problem and did not need skimming, skimming the head is now producing more compression and mixing the oil into the water twice as quick than before and compounded the problem double fold, Im sure @Stevep @scubabiker would have the same diagnostic

Crack in the head/cylinder is my best guess if its not the head gasket again...

The water only runs around the cylinder. It barely runs around the head.
If they skimmed the head and not the top of the barrel then they will have a mis-match that the cylinder head gasket can't cope with.
And more than likely, the compression stroke would blow the water into the exhaust pipe. Not into the oil.
More than likely the water is getting past the base gasket.
If the cylinder is cracked it would show up as blowing back into the water jacket.
Take the water bottle cap off and the water will blow itself out of the bottle with the engine running.
You can also get the same effect if the water pump seal has gone on the rear of the water pump shaft.

If I remember right, there's a water way core plug that sit's under the camshaft, I had a DNA with similar symptoms, might be worth having a look or try another head!

A new Cam chain/oil pump would be a good idea plus usual oil filter/5w-40 oil.

    Meh...
Not really, leave it on idle so it can get warm, when the thermostat opens turn it off, let it cool down, start it up again, let it warm up a bit and easy throttle for first few km...
