Hello All. Recently bought a runner sp 50 all stock and derestricted. It was running nice and I want to tune it up a little. So bought a 70cc Polini and Stage 6 pro replica from a friend who was breaking it for parts. The carb is 17.5, with jets: idle:32 and main:53. When I have fitted the kit and the exhaust it was running quite nice but slow. At the start it goes quite good, then reaches 40(7k rpms) stays there for a minute, and after that it starts to gain speed again. By advice of a friend I should change the main jet at around 85 to 90. Bought up a kit of jets from 75 to 98. And there we go with the problems. Its cutting bogging not going at all, even hard to start. Carb has been cleaned 4 times and it's spotless. Even when I return the 53m jet its the same. Needle is 3 places up from low point. Nothing is helping and I'm struggling with this a week from now. Derestricted from everywhere. Any advise would be great and really appreciated. Thank you in advance
Excellent Gonna try with 72 as this is the smallest one I have at the moment. Now its with rollers 5.2gr and there is slight better but still have those cutting sounds. Gonna try I post again. Thank you very much
Niceeee! 75 jet makes it run awesome. But there is another problem. When I drive it for a little around 6/7km it cuts out. When I try to start it again it doesn't. After one cigarette time I was able to start it, but it was bogging. Left for a little while and there we go again awesome running. Next 6/7 km and again the same. Any ideas?
