runner sp 125

Hey just wodnering what i should do if i have fitted a 172 kit..been told i should have some sort of engine brace to stop engine wobbling and breaking...is this true??? Any help wud be helpful as wouldnt want engine snapping on me

 

It it known for any of the piaggio 125/180 cases to break at some time, leaping over speed hump's won't help matters but you'd be very unlucky to have an engine break. Just fitting a 172 kit won't make it break, if in dought just polish out the casting seem that runs top to bottom of the main case.

 

So is there anything to help with vibration....been told to get a brace but pm tuning 1 is quite expensive

 

If the engine/ suspension joint is fitted properly then they don't vibrate! What have you done to it to make it vibrate?

 

Fitted a 172 kit...and da engine moves a tad...shud this happen as ive been told its fine.

 

All engines move a tad, but in what direction? If it's only a tad then no problem.

 

Up and down i think..lol...surely if it was going to break it would of by now...cheers for the reply...seems as tho u r the only 1 to have the time to reply..lol
