hello guys, want to get some thoughts on wheather it may be possible to get some sort of spacer on a gilly 125 sp engine to allow me to put a aerox wheel on it ? cheers
Re: runner engine with rox wheel? can use a rox wheel happily on the 50 if you use the sr hub... the wheel wont clear the caliper on the 125 tho so it will probably need the 50 caliper and some of the case machined out..oh and the hub ether spaced or machined down to keep the original offset of the wheel.
thanks for tht info ill had to have a think it just i really dnt like the odd wheels lol also how hard would it be to wire up aerox clock ad do u reckon it wudd cost alot as i really want them on but i shit with electrics lol cheers
yes it can be wired up.... better off changing the front wheel (find a runer front and adapt the caliper mount.. then you just need diff wheel bearings) all old news as far as rox's go. people been putting nrg/runner wheels on them for years. wiring is easy if you know how and impossible if you dont.. facrt is i aint sitting here talking you through it wire by wire.. pay somone who does electrics to do it for you.. wont take em an hour
ye i ant going have a go myself ill let some1 do it ,jsut wont to go back to the standard look! i know this may sound silly put if i brought runner stage6 fork legs wudd they go onto the aerox yoke as then i i cudd have runner wheel and the big disk shit wihtout too much hassle cheers for all ur help think of a elece water pump so i am off to read up as i no there alot of post about these!
nah i think the aerox stantions are diff to the runner... could just messure them. can always change the headstock bearings and cups and just cut down the runner fork stem.. will need threeading and a new headstock made up... or maybe just leave it as is?
