    HEY ALL
i got a runner st125 and i need alittle help its got a leo vince 4 road exhaust on and a polini 9 roller variator with 5 g rollers in ,a malossi kevker belt on ,malossi hard clutch springs ,
when i pull off its faster then it was but the revs will hit about 9000 then back off to around 7000 thats where it feels like there is no power untill it picks up again im thinking of getting a polini adjustible clutch for it . any thoughts on how to make it better ???

if the bog occurs once the clutch has bit, it could be the rollers are a tad heavy and moving up the ramp a fraction too early.

all I can say is I eliminate this not knowing if it is the clutch or not, by when first setting up a new build, deliberately rollering light, that way you can fine tune the clutch knowing that the gearing isn't giving false impressions of the clutch. Once I tweak the clutch, then I fine tune the rollers, and normally go back to fine tuning the carb.

maybe others have their own way of doing it, but it works for me.

First of all. why change things that work well. a 4 stroke does not need a roller or clutch spring change for a pipe

5g sound really light. you need to keep the power in the powerband. id ditch the idea of a clutch. have you got your old standard belt? if so change back to the standard belt and try it

stiffer clutch springs will mean when you roll on and off the throttle the delay will be longer.

im afraid the increases over standard will be very little. i would go back to just a pipe and standard set up
