runner engine in zip

    can i put a 50 runner engine into a 50 zip, and what will i need to do so?

    Aside from it being a l/c engine it will fit but its a bad idea and more hassle than its worth. Zip engines arent all that hard to find?

    its just that my mates standard runners fly past my standard zip and its really pissing me off

    L/cs are a bit more powerful as stock i think...not 100% sure as to to what extent. Either way there shouldnt be all that much in it and they will both top out about the same

    But a runner engine will mean having to add a rad and stuff which doesn't always workout well on zips

    Get a 70cc kit and then laugh at him . Simples.

    Or just buy a 125 ?

    A/c are quite alot slower than L/c. My nrg is ac an has a pipe, my mates nrg is lc an ha a pipe.
    He tops at about 58 an mine tops at 52-54(when it works haha)
