at the moment i have a gilera runner 50cc(newshape) Im trying to decide wheather to put a polini 70cc evo 2 kit on it or buy a gilera runner 125cc... Which would be a better/faster bike?
Well the evo kit would probably be near enough equal in power to a stock 125 but not be ANYWHERE near as reliable and needs more than just slapping on the cylinder kit really If you can ride a 125 it makes sense to get one really rather than trying to turn a 50 into one..obv if your 16 then so be it
thanks for your reply, Well Im going to be 17 in 2months so i might just wait and yhh I wasnt just going to put a cylinder kit on I would of done it properly just wasn't sure how good the end result would of been, needed to get some advice since it would have been alot of money spent
EVERY 16yr old has this dilemma tbh lol. all comes down to how patient you are and how much cash you have to burn as to get a 50 to go anywhere as quick as a 125 youd spend close to the cost of a 125 tbh think about it this way...if you keep the money youd spend on the evo kit (and all the other things youd need with it) and sold your bike in 2 months time youd easily have enough for a 125
It's cool But on a serious note. a evo is not for the light harted. Will cost a lot of money and time to run properly too.
You don't just "put" a evo kit on a bike. It takes a lot of work, parts and skill to get one to work and stay working for any amount of time. It makes a lot more sense for your average scooter owner to get a 125 or above.
