runner 180 head on a 172 will it work

    basically got a 172 kit but no head so looking at prices for heads malossi one is around £40-50 but a runner 180 one is only £20 the 180 piston is 65.5mm and the 172 is 65mm so would it work ??

    dont see why it wouldnt but the 172 heads are better =/ thats why people put 172 heads on 180's? spend the extra couple of quid (Y)

    will work fine, compression will be lower tho. can always grab a 180 head and remachine it to match a 172. shiny does alot of them tbh.
