runner 125?

    hi people.. been offered a runner cheap, know a bit about scooters but have never had a 125 scoot.. i know its been sat out side for at least a year, dont know to much about it other than that the guy who had it is a bit of a din.. apperantley he was riding it then the radiator started steaming so he stopped riding it ( so his brother says ) sounds like a load of bull.. but from what i can get out of him used to run but not possitive.. just wondering if anyone will know what kind of problems i may have with it? typical runner problems? any help with be much appreciated cheers guys, going to see hopefully tomoz so i should see how bad it looks tomorow..

    preety sure its a sp ( 2stroke ) but boys an idiot so god knows lol..

    if its a 2 stroke and cheap just go for it if you know a bit about working on them just go for it. plenty of parts about for rebuilds and they are cracking bikes!!

    yeah that what i was thinking.. but was looking up parts and there expensive.. so really not sure, especially if they have problems.. any idea of the problems i may face?..

    Yea 2 strokes are good...plus if its cheap u could easily sell it on at profit as they are becoming a lot harder to get hold of

    Had a runner back in 03 too big a scooter for the power as standard, there are lots of aftermarket parts, but if you ask me to big for a scoot. I had the sp as well.
    If you want to throw a lot of money at it then i would consider it.
