    Hello good peoples.
I have run into a big (or small) problem.
I did order a new Runner fork from SC, and want to use this on my Typhoon.
Only one big problem, the shaft is 1,8 cm to short!
This is just to short to get bouth top bearingnuts in place.
The handelbars wont fit corretly either.
I have seen alot of forks conversion on the web, how do they do it?

not only this but you have to enlarge the d cutaway so it sits in the same place as the original or the steering lock wont fit. just cut the difference in shaft length off the fork tube, do it proud (a little less than you need to cut off) then take the raminder off with a BIG flat file so its nice an flat or you WILL get speed steer/wobble from the front wheel. not good.

use a straight edge/right angle/set square (tired ) as you want the cut completly 90 degrees to the fork tube in every possible direciton.

theres pics of this in the project titled "casa's gilly typh" altho you cant tell its been done, took me about 20 mins wiht an angle grinder and a file.
