rubber left after bushes taken out

    basically i need to take the bushes out of my engine so i can fit the bearings for the sr in
    i got one out in about 10mins with a socket and hammer and i used a tool to take the other one out except it only took out the metal bit with abit of rubber the rest has just stayed in there and wont pull away from the metal is there any thing i can use to get it out such as burn it out or is ther a chemical that will take it out any ideas appreciated

    ye man its in an awkward place and its propa tuff shit so im just melting it out with a blow torch

    blow torch this close to a thin ali mount? askin for trouble..cut it out, its only rubber...
