yeah change the rings asap, if you can get a new piston aswell, new gaskets , and generally service it,like air filter, spark plug, brake pads, all liquids , you knowthe drill. and yes, new panels, wheels and the rest just slap straight on it :D

ill get on with that as long as it all goes through sunday :)
how much would you say it will be worth if i decide to sell it?
i probably wont as i dont want to give up on mopeds bikes etc :)
    just wondering about value
    is a y reg 2001
    11000km/miles
as for the new panels iv looked into it and it looks very expencive so that wont happen :(
thanks for the help btw :D

YEP. Thats probably for just a genuine nose cone about 1200 quid or a medium sized side panel....
like a under fairing or tail piece

ow and buy the way i wouldnt even think about TPO insurance, may be cheap vt whats the point when a bunch of CUNTS try or succed in nicking your pride and joy, then all is lost and your fucked.

rs s are fast BECAUSE they are light not overly powerful, looked at the mx125 aprilia makes they only do 90 at a push and guess what engined they are based on??
a loss of nearly 30mph because of aerodynamics and a steel frame

i think from memory the frame is something stupid like 15 kgs .. hardly a 2 man job to nick as the lights come to about my waist area

very easy to nick so sort it out buy a few chains disc locks an alarm and tpft insurance

    rs 125 frame weighs 9.8kg and a rs 250 frame weighs 14.6 kg ;)

    no shit

hence the reson why i mention

"guess what engine the mx is based on?"

yes it is geared lower but the rs is still faster stock than a mx stock

the rs has an ALLY frame and ALLY wheels

    mx has ally wheels

but being geared lower the mx will only do 90 but will be bit quiker lower end.

how wants to do 100+ on a 125

Dont the MX's have ally wheels? Wouldn't the rs be geared for top end too?

ye your right my bad i thought the mx had steel spoked wheels till today

my point being anyway to the lad was to pick theft insurance because the bike itself weighs about as much as kate moss

yeah the leaver thingy is part of the switchgear, will probs cost you like 300 to put right, i mean its not alot of work , its just missin parts that are needed, thats ofcourse if your gearbox is sound

from what i hear the 50's eat gearbox's and the 125's eat engines
but they both may eat both :)
ill find out next year wont i aha
wanna try and fix it as cheap as possible
ill buy cracked panels and repair them and spray them myself if i have to :)
choke cable is £30 on ebay
why is it that expencive for a fucking cable!
i imagin a aerox choke cable would maybe fit a rs?
i have one spare ill give it a go :)
if not its the expencive option :(
