are there any major differences between the frame, brakes, forks etc coz i have a r125 engine and there is a rs50 with a blown engine 4 sale and was jst wonderin if it would b easy to put the lump in also any ova mods id hav 2 make thanks in advance
totally different bike, the 50 has smaller frame, forks etc.. and is powered by minarelli and the 125 is larger, beetter frame, uprated forks, different electrics... totally diff bike powered by rotax 50 motor: 125 motor:
know that yz 426 engines fit into the rs50's, doubt its easy. easiest swap is rs125 engine with rotax 257 kart/crosser 250 single. rs125 chain on opposite side to rs50
just like a cr500 motor will go into a derbi senda, the only one i know of killed its rider though. dont put big motors in 50s, they won't take it.
i'm going for a rotax 257/rs125 soon. got 2 257 engines. identical mount points to the 122, although one of the mount holes needs bushing
and cr500 engine shouldnt go in anything. runs on evil that engine, seen snapped frames from vibes and snapped legs just tryin to start it :msn1:
