I have a aprilia sr50 r 05 with a stage 6 pro replica exhaust it goes around 55+ what rollers can i put in it to go faster or??? Gram?
Lower the roller weight, change torque spring behind clutch and change the clutch springs, it may lose you 5mph or so but personally id rather have a bike that was fast to 50 than slow to 55, its up to you though
Whats the deal with a stock restricted ped ? My 4 stroke zip is a little slow all around, Im gonna remove the variator washer and derestrict the cdi, i know it wont make massive difference but should i lower the roller weight or leave it stock ? stock is currently 6.4gram, i was thinking something like 5.5 -6.0gram, would this make any difference ?
Wouldnt mess with cdi, you'll only ruin the bike, if you can derestrict standard exhaust then go for it, but you wont get much difference, and if you want to change your rollers then go for it, i have 5.5's in my 2T zip and seems ok, but its all down to setup of bike as much as personal preference, if u want a quicker bike buy a sports exhaust, upjet the carb then change the rollers
Well theres a rev limiter in the CDI, which is a restriction, ive got a guide on how to do it, and a replacement is around £20 if i mess it up, as for a sports exhaust, It wont really make any performance difference as its a 4 stroke, it isnt really intended to do more than 40ish. Im just trying to get it to do 40ish on all levels. Im hoping with the washer removed and the rev limiter disabled i could get an extra 5mph from it. Would upjetting make any difference to a 4 stroke ? or would it be the same speed but using more fuel ?
De-restricting a CDI is fine aslong as you don;t put stupidly light rollers in it. I guess you could say it hits terminal velocity, where the top speed of the bike and the wind pushing against it equal out, and the engine stops increasing in revs
