hi, sorry to ask, but couldnt really find anything definate on the search so.

im soon going to 70cc my engine, as from what ive read on here it makes more of a difference than changing an exhaust etc first so, i think im going to go for the polini sport kit, as it looks like its got an edge on the malossi.

i only have around £100 to spend, so i can only really afford the kit, and some rollers etc to match, so ill be running the standard 12mm carb.

my friend has kindly gave me a viper exhaust (i know theyre not that good, but will be better than stock) which i have cleaned and painted.

just wondering what kind of jets i need to order, if standard is 72. ive seen around 8-12% for the 70? but what about an exhaust aswell?

and also any ideas on roller weights, i know standard is 6.5g but thats obviously far to heavy, as i put some 5.0g's in and it was a lot better, but would i go lighter or heavier for the 70? i know its usually lighter for an exhaust

    sorry to be a bother.

iits a minerelli horizontal a/c by the way.

    thanks guys

hi, i would say some nice light 5g rollers should make it rev nicely.

yes 8-10 percent for a 70 kit and about 5 percent for the exhaust ;)

i would work it out for you but i dont have a calculator and im shit at maths

okay thanks a lot mate, and thanks for the fast reply.

will 5g's be appropriate, i was thinking of buying two sets, so would i buy lighter or heavier to the 5's ?

okay then so if i order 5 jets, id proberly oder about 13% 14% 15% 16% 17%, for the increase?

and is a standard belt thats done about 300miles okay to use with the 70?

    many thanks

hmm, and 18% increase is an 85, sunds abut right as ive seen a lot of people running 86, or am i completely wrong?

also how much will i have to stiffen my clutch springs, i see the sets come in +15% +50% and +75% ??

Your standard belt is ok and i'd go for the 15% stiffer clutch springs..maybe the 50%.

If the standard jet size is 72 then get around 92 and downwards..better to be safe(running rich) then sorry..

    or

    92 90 88 86 84 ?
