Hi, i changed my rollers this morning from the stock 13g ones to some 10g ones. Bearing in mind the bike is 100% stock b4 this change.
I expected a little to much i think because the acceleration is hard to judge. I cant tell if its improved. Mainly because of the question im going to ask.

When others have changed their rollers. Has the sound of your bike changed?. My bike sounds a lot different. A bit beefier.

I think im going to change them to somewhere in between the 10g and the stock 13g cus the loss of top speed is mad!

    Cheers

I know that down side of the light rollers is the loss of top speed.
Up side been the "better acceleration" + The beefy Noise.
But am i right in thinking im going to lose out on MPG? i guess the engine is still reving to the same limit but only getin 80% of the orignal speed.
Might try and live with it and see if i like them.
There the Dr Pulley oddly shape ones.

heavy rollers wont give you more topspeed because the gearing is still the same, theres always a optimum roller weight wich will give good acceleration and wont reduce topspeed

a 3g drop does sound excessive for a stokc setup, maybe go for 12's or mix the 10's and 13's together to make 11.5

    ok cheers.
And the noise. I think while i took the tranny cover off, (had to take the air box off a little too) i Knocked the air intake to the carb out. so its getin a little to much are, makeing that noise and bogging a little bit at the higher revs. Ill check it out 2moro.
    :D
