Road Legal Quad.

    Right , Im genuinly really hooked on these, and would love to have one, just need to know the deal with getting legal on them.i know you need a full car licence. has anyone ever insured a road legal quad? im looking at the yamaha raptor 250's, so yeah whats the story with them ive heard you dont need to wear a helmet and can take passangers on motorways? etc

    yeh i think you can go on motorway,carry passengers and can wear no helmet but i think insurnace is ment to be a piss take.

    seen 2 quads on the road before.. can't remember if they had helmets though..

    them raptors look nice.. should get the 686cc one though.

    Yeah one man was selling his one because he couldnt afford insurance and he said he is something like 29 and his paying £900 or some shit like that.

    also road tax matches a car, so you'll end up paying quite abit for it!

    bollocks to it then ill just get a car along side my bike.

    mate jsut brought an 08 plate quad last night, tax was 66 pound for 6 months, we both been on it all night, insurance he doesnt need as he has a traders policy so can drive anythign any time that covers his luicense on .
