Hi, Right heres the problem i took my carb off cleaned it then it sat for about a night then put it back on this morning. it starts after a couple of trys with the electric start but just wont start when i try to kick start it. it ticks over fine if you give it some throttle its fine but as soon as you go to half way or above it just dies almost instantly and if your going up a hill you basically cant give it any throttle. i left it to tick over for roughly 5 minutes to see if i could find the problem and the tempreture light came on. i didnt want to mess around with the mixture screws as i dont know very much and ive also tried spraying WD40 on the manifold makes no bubbles or dosnt make the revs go up. Really need help on this one :beg: . Thanks.
Did you clean it or did you take the carb apart? did you check all the connections/pipes are on correctly and tight? did you check the jets weren't loose? if it was fine before you cleaned it then i can only guess something was put back quite right.
why did you take it apart in the first place? chances are whatever you were trying to cure is still the problem
right i took it apart because ive been having problems with my bike ive posted another post on this. i just cleanded it only thing i took off was the auto choke.
