    Yes, it's called a "throttle"! but if your old enough or have a licence it 's not a problem.

    Get a restrictor where when ever you switch ignition on you pull brake lever in a code an itll let it go max speeed or if you dont put in the code it only does 30

    Type in 'limiter' on pedparts, there's two;

    A cheap one with a hidden switch, and an expensive one with the brake lever code. If you do get one, you can't turn it on/off with the ignition on or it will damage the CDI.

    If your trying to pass off a 172 as a 50, good luck. Most cops if they stop you to check your ped over will do a check on the registration and check the frame and engine number. Mismatched numbers will send them on a feeding frenzy and they will probably suss that it is not a 50cc , result bye bye bike.

    If it's more than 50cc it's not a moped and the police can do a 16 year old for no licence, and no insurance. they will also seize the bike.

    They will if they check the frame and engine numbers.

    I hope he's good. just be careful cos youre the one who could end up in the shit if it goes tits up.
    Not all feds are brain dead, I was pulled by one the other week (cos my mate rides like he's on a deathwish)
    and he used to ride scoots and knew a hell of a lot about them. Theres a tuned Aerox 100 (120) on fleebay at the moment which is registered as a 50, it's aircooled and beside being a pile of poo, whose he kidding.

    If there are no numbers visible they will suspect that the bike is stolen and take it for forensic examination.
    they put some acid on the frame and engine and it exposes the numbers. Apparently even though the numbers may have been filed off, when they were stamped the metal is sort of bruised and the acid reveals this.
