What is the law regarding buying a new vehicle and returns. I know that UK law covers various things you buy in a shop and if it breaks you are entitled to return the item for a refund or replacement but say i bought a new scooter or motorcycle and after 200 miles electrics go or the starter motor breaks or something along those lines are you allowed to return the vehicle for a new one or demand a refund how does it work in regards to vehicles?

Don't think you would be able to return it or get a refund unless you were continually having problems.
Basically they would repair it until the warranty runs out.
Chances are if you are buying a cheap scooter the dealers would probably start to mess you about as the profit margins are very low.
They would still have to honour the warranty though.

Yeah, parts get replaced under warranty. Sometimes the factory want the parts sent back, ive never known anyone to return a whole bike.
