Retarded ignition/stator Break down

    the engine sounds very groggy, it could be a number of things and is difficult to tell you exactly without physically checking your scooter over. It could be too rich oil or fuel mixture, not enough / retarded ignition timing, it could even be the stator or coil starting to break down. Thanks



    This was a comment made to me on a video of my bike i posted on a facebook page,how do i fix this problem, i assume new parts,would these solve the problem????

    well why dont you physically assess the scooter before gambling ?

    Ho would i do that???im not a good electrician should i not just take it to a garage?/?

    If the engine ticks over fine how can the spark not be good? Bad ignition parts will more likely not work at all than make your engine sound a bit funny. I'd look into the carb setup myself.
