restricters

    were are the restricters are on a suzuki kantana :confused:arc: ??

    pipe on the exaust

    cdi

    washer behind the wariator

    yeah , same as my sr. i gust got a new pipe to save the hastle of doing the old one.took the washer out.
    cdi has to be done as your dealers but they will charge a bomb for that.
    might be some other stuff , wait for more people to reply mate

    a gold plate in the carb, washer behind the variator, the lil ristrictor cone in the exhaust port end of the exhaust if its a sports pipe, cdi and possibly in the airbox? wait for someone to comment who knows more bout suzuki kantana's :D

    that isn't a restrictor just stops the bike getting to much air and bogging basicly think thats right but i garentee that isnt a restricter

    it is a restirictor think about it its stoping the bike getting as much air as it could obviously if you no what you're doin like correct jetting for starters! :p

    WRONG.. the plate is because they used to big a carb for the cylinder fitted.. it keeps fuel consumption down and richens the idle mix by reducing air.

    if you set the bike up without the plate it will run the same, takes alot of messing about and uses twice the fuel so restrictor my ass... leave it in till theres a 70 kit on there
