restoring metal finish

the bloke who owned my aerox before me decided he would paint the crank case and water pump case with spray paint
now, due to him using crap paint, its all flaking off and looks terrible

i was wondering what i could do to get the crank case( the whole thing) and the water pump case back to its metal finish??

also, would i have to take the whole engine block off to do this ??

i was stripping my wheel had no gloves or fuck all on

was scrubing like fuck with wire brish and was flinging every where and went in my eye

hurt abit like.

1 litre from Wilkinsons will be about £6.80 and will do a set of car alloys, giving them a few coats to remove the stubborn bits... how do I know???

theres a set outside our back door coated in the stuff as I type

agreed my doctor said i was quite lucky i think if i had any more stripping to do i will actualy listen this time and wear goggles and gloves
