Is there anything that is fuel resistant to repair a small hole in the bottom.. it's a plastic float bowl. Or has anyone got a float bowl for a YSN 21mm carb float bowl i can buy?. The carb itself looks identical to the 21mm dellorto so i don't know whether these have the same bowl.

My brother is going to try fibreglass it tomorrow.

    Thanks

Fibreglass resin is not adhesive use a 2 pack epoxy like araldyte or the metal mender types. My local cheapshop sell a 2 pack adhesive which comes in a double syringe it's brilliant for repairing panels when used with fibreglass tape and this would be ideal for you.

The normal resin used with fibreglass has no adhesive properties it will stick but can come off easily . Two pack adhesive is the way to go. You could also try a product called Petropatch it's made for the purpose of repairing petrol tanks.

i've already fibreglassed it.. i've put a layer on the outside and reshaped the original shape before it hit the previous owners back tyre and i've put a thin layer on the inside so that the hole is filled and the layer on the inside should in theory hold the outer layer on if you get me? if this fails i'll try the stuff you reccomend thanks for all the input everyoneee
