renthals on piaggio zip?

    has anyone done a renthal conversion on a piaggio zip and got through an mot with it? like where have you put a front headlight? and has anyone got any pics?

    Lol Vesta the tread on that is perfectly legal because you dont need any tread on a moped tyre and its stil perfectly legal. :w00t:

    Honestly mate ive just got my certificate from doing a wheels and tyres module. its what most quickfit wankers have. No tread on a moped tyre is still legal, not practical but there is no limit.

    ye visible over the center 3/4 or 2/3 or sumthing, VISIBLE can be a tiny groove tho.

    Lol next time pull out the old theres no legal limit but visible tread is advised atleast.
    Although since there is no legal limit then i dont know if the 2/3 rule applies now DYS.

    The only thing i know that makes it illegal would be bulges on the sidewalls etc.. Cords showing.

    college teacher who is a CBT trainer and been biking many years says, anything under 50cc should have visible tread on 3/4 of the tyre ;)
