look inside the can at the end where it meets the exhaust and shine a light in the other end, if you can see the pipe is the same diameter all the way down put it back on and forget it. if however you cant see the light or the pipe gets smaller strip the can and remove with a dremmel/file/saw

of course there are baffels in the exhaust or else it would be soo loud!! a mate went through a puddle on his ped and his baffels got wet and he dried them out and it was fine again.

baffels? ME THINKS NOT.. the silencer has a baffel tube, if this came apart the can would be in bits under whatever is driving behind you.. it AINT a 4t pipe

how can somone that has no idea where "baffels" are possibly know they deffinatly have them?

look in capri daves project an see if you can see a "baffel" for me

is a baffel tube, this is the only thing holding your ENTIRE can together.. so if the vbaffel fell out it would be a case of there being no can left.. see what im sayin?

you speak of them as baffels like in a 4t can, where theres a removable restrictor/cone/washer or strip of metal you can remove.
not being picky.. just hate people talkin about baffel'S in 2t pipes

The problem seems to be different people call the same thing by different names ;)

when you slide the outer part of the can away from the inner part,
you should see a load of wadding or baffle packing (call it what you like)

remove the Baffle packing or wadding and youll see the Baffle tube ;)

This i beleive is the area thats causing confusion lads :D

yes.. and the sentance was "my baffel's" doesent matter what its called.. i was mearly trying to tell him theres fuck all point pissin about ripping the can apart to check somthing that couldenbt possibly be wrong (unless a verrry large peice of piston hits it on the way out)

once again, strip it for naff all reason m8, 3 rivets at the back of the can usually need drilling then pull it apart
