Removing the engine ?

    Hi, I have a piaggio NRG power dt and i need to remove the engine, To make it easier for u lot :L i have removed everything apart from the rear brake cable and i dont know how to so i would like some help with that if possible :) after that i can do the rest :p

    Umm if I remember:
    Wheel off
    Brake pads off
    Undo the bolt at top of the lever that the cable pulls
    Pull out the pin the levers attached to
    Undo the bolt under the cases that holds the cable

    Or something like that..

    pull back the gaitor that covers the spring in front of the rear brake arm...along that section there should be a piece of bolt with a square section that will allow you to clamp either mole grips to or a small spanner on to stop the cable rotating...you can then undo the nut at the back. Just underneath where the cable attaches to the under casing of the engine theres a bolt that holds the cable ouuter sleeve...slacken that off...it'll let you rotate the bit of mtal at the rear of it that will allow you to remove the brake outer cable off the engine casing. it should then be free to remove
